Choeung Ek, the site of a former orchard and mass grave of victims of the Khmer Rouge – killed between 1975 and 1979 – about 17 kilometres south of Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Between 1975 and 1978,aabout 17,000 men, women, children and infants (including nine westerners), detained and tortured at S-21 prison (now Tuol Sleng Museum), were transported to the extermination to death to avoid wasting precious bullets.The remains of 8985 people, many of whom were bound and blindfolded, were exhumed in 1980 from mass graves in this one-time long an orchard; 43 of the 129 communal graves here have been left untouched. Fragment of Human bone and bits of cloth are scattered around the disinterred pits. Over 8000 skulls, arranged by sex, are visible behind the clear glass panels of the Memoral Stupa, which was erected in 1988. A memorial ceremony is held annually at Choeung Ek on 9 May.

#7:30 AM: Pick up and Bike fixing
Our bike tour guide and temple guide will welcome you and introduce something about Phnom Penh Capital and some Khmer words as well as fixing your bikes at the hotel.
We are driving on the right side in Cambodia so all drivers and riders should know it. Please feel free to ask our guide for further information to be confident on your ridding. We will first visit the Killing Field that is about 17 km out of city and return back to first ferry crossing of Mekong River.
#9:00 AM: Explore Killing Field
After ridding about 1 hour and half, we will get a city view and explore some of villages and urban houses at south of Phnom Penh city. Our temple guide would show you and explain the history of Killing Field, Khmer Rouge Regime, Mass grave etc.We will spend 1 hour and half at the Killing Field and then take a rest a few minutes before back to the city and continue to visit the east side through Areyakhsat Ferry.
#12:30 AM: Getting Lunch at local restaurant in Mekong Villages
After the tour to Killing Field, we will leave from 10:45 AM or a bit later across the slums villages surrounded the Killing Field. After that, we will get a ferry across the Mekong River.
Before lunch, we will explore the beautiful landscape of greenery rural that rich of fruit and vegetable farms and there are local markets. Our guide will show you the lifestyle of people on the Mekong Island, which based on paddy rice and how they can connect their lives with the people at Phnom Penh City.
After spending about 3 hours on ridding, our guide would take you to rest in local restaurant with spectacular interior and breathtaking view of Mekong River as well as the swimming pool at the restaurant. After having lunch, you would spend only 5$ each person to use the delighted swimming pool.
#13:45 PM: Silk Weaving and Traditional Fashion Show
Mekong Villages are known as Silk Island or Mekong Island. Because of traditional skill of people in those villages combine with new technical skills provided by Japanese NGOs, and also land condition are suitable for growing mulberry trees, feeding silkworms and spinning. Most of families on the Island are the silk weavers (Cambodia Golden Silk).The Silk Island is our next target place to visit. After our lunch time, our guide would bring you to visit some silk weaving houses, fruit and vegetable farms then we will continue to across the second ferry.
#14:20 PM: Lifestyle of Mekong Villagers
We still on Mekong Island and that villages are covering by green farms, a lot of Khmer Cows, and getting more insight of life of local people who living on the island. Because of the natural view and best of fresh air, we don’t want to bring our customers back to the city early. Therefore, if our customers need to take more time to ride on the Island, we can offers 1 hour of riding more to visit sand beach of Mekong River (Koh Dach Sand Beach Tourism Site). The sand beach is about 7 km from our third ferry crossing as the place for crossing the river back to city.
#15:45 PM: Back to City through the Third Ferry
From Prek Leap ferry (the third ferry), we will ride along the local restaurants, nightclubs and hotels along the Mekong River Bank. We may ride direct to your hotels. But if you feel tired, please do not worry, we will have transportation support to pick you up from your tiring point to your hotel.
